Ingredients
  

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 packet 1 oz onion soup mix
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 can 10.5 oz low-sodium cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet 1 oz pork gravy mix
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cold water

  • Prepare the Base: In the slow cooker, mix together the onion soup mix, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and pork gravy mix.
  • Season the Meat: Lightly season the pork chops with garlic powder.
  • Cook: Place the seasoned pork chops in the slow cooker, ensuring they are well-coated with the gravy mixture. Cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Thicken the Gravy: About 30 minutes before serving, whisk cornstarch and cold water together in a small bowl. Stir into the slow cooker to thicken the gravy.
  • Final Cooking: Increase the heat to high and cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until the gravy reaches the desired consistency.

Notes

For a variation, consider using cream of mushroom or celery soup, or add vegetables like mushrooms, onions, or bell peppers for extra flavor and texture.
