DMCA Removal

President Clinton ratified the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) on October 28, 1998. The WIPO Copyright Treaty and the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty, both of which were signed in 1996, are put into effect by the legislation. A number of other important copyright-related issues are also covered under the DMCA.
