Candy Corn Fudge (3-Layer White Chocolate Fudge)

Candy corn fudge squares

This fudge looks like a giant candy corn and tastes like sweet vanilla cream. White chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and a little butter melt together, then the mixture is split and colored yellow and orange for the layers. No thermometer, no boiling, just melt, pour and chill.

How to Make Candy Corn Fudge

  1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment, leaving an overhang on two sides.
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips, condensed milk and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Stir in the vanilla.
  3. Pour one third into a bowl and color it yellow. Spread it in the pan and chill 10 minutes.
  4. Keep the rest warm over very low heat. Color half of it orange, spread it over the yellow layer and chill 10 minutes.
  5. Spread the remaining white fudge on top. Press candy corn into the surface if you like.
  6. Chill at least 2 hours, lift out with the parchment and cut into 1-inch squares.

Tips

  • Work on low heat; white chocolate scorches easily.
  • Gel coloring gives bright color without thinning the fudge.
  • Wipe the knife between cuts for clean edges.

Serving and Storing

Keep the squares in an airtight container in the fridge for 2 weeks. Let them sit 10 minutes before serving.
