Ingredients

  • 8 oz 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup pecans finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley optional, for garnish
  • Additional chopped pecans optional, for coating

Instructions

  • Mix the Ingredients:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped dried cranberries, chopped pecans, green onions, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the Cheese Ball:
  • Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the counter and scoop the cheese mixture onto it. Use the plastic wrap to help shape the mixture into a ball. Wrap it tightly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
  • Optional Coating:
  • Just before serving, roll the cheese ball in additional chopped pecans for extra crunch. Sprinkle with dried parsley for a pop of color, if desired.
  • Serve and Enjoy:
  • Place the cheese ball on a serving plate and pair with crackers, sliced baguette, or vegetable sticks. Enjoy the creamy, crunchy, and sweet combination!

Notes

Customize your cheese ball with different cheeses, add a touch of heat with cayenne pepper, or make it nut-free by using crushed pretzels or crispy bacon bits instead of pecans.
