  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce adjust for spice preference
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • For the Creamy Macaroni Cheese:
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the Honey Pepper Sauce: In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sriracha, black pepper, and minced garlic until well blended.
  • Bake the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the honey pepper sauce over them, making sure each piece is well coated. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is sticky and caramelized.
  • Cook the Macaroni: While the chicken is baking, cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Make the Cheese Sauce: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to create a roux and cook for about 2 minutes, until slightly golden and bubbly. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring until the mixture thickens and comes to a simmer. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine and Serve: Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until evenly coated. Serve the honey pepper chicken alongside a generous helping of creamy macaroni cheese. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.
