Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds kielbasa or smoked sausage sliced
  • 2 15-ounce cans green beans, well-drained
  • 2 pounds baby creamer potatoes cleansed and halved
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • Place halved creamer potatoes in a gallon-sized sealable bag. Add vegetable oil, garlic powder, black pepper, and Slap Ya Mama seasoning (if using). Seal and shake to coat evenly.
  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Brown the sausage slices, then remove and set aside to cool before adding them to the bag with potatoes.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions and garlic until soft and fragrant. Let cool and add to the bag.
  • Add drained green beans to the bag, seal, and shake gently to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture from the bag into the prepared casserole dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

Notes

Pair with a crisp green salad, warm crusty bread, or a side of roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
