Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning or homemade blend
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 large flour tortillas 8–10 inch
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce iceberg or romaine
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños sliced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream optional
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp fresh cilantro chopped, optional garnish

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned, breaking up clumps with a spatula.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and water, simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Wrap tortillas in a towel and microwave 20-30 seconds or heat on a dry skillet until pliable.
  • Lay tortilla flat, add seasoned beef, then drizzle nacho cheese sauce over the top.
  • Layer shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and jalapeños evenly over the cheese sauce.
  • Fold sides in and roll from bottom up, sealing ingredients inside.
  • Place wrap seam-side down on skillet for 30 seconds to seal and warm through.
  • Slice wraps in half and serve with sour cream and cilantro garnish.

Notes

Store beef filling and cheese sauce separately in the fridge for up to 3 days. Tortillas can be warmed just before serving to prevent sogginess.
