Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent dough sheet
  • 1 cup cooked ham diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or Swiss
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon mustard Dijon or whole grain
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Set to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • Roll out the dough: Unroll the crescent dough sheet and press it into the bottom of the dish, creating a small edge up the sides.
  • Prepare the butter mixture: Mix melted butter, garlic powder, mustard, and onion powder (if using) in a small bowl. Spread evenly over the dough.
  • Layer the ham and cheese: Evenly distribute the diced ham over the dough and top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-17 minutes, until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Serve: Let cool slightly, slice, garnish with parsley, and enjoy warm.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños or red pepper flakes. Experiment with different cheeses or substitute the ham with turkey or bacon for variety.
