Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese softened at room temperature (Philadelphia brand recommended)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened (Land O’Lakes or Kerrygold recommended)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar sifted (ensures a lump-free, silky texture)
  • 8 oz whipped topping thawed (Cool Whip or store-brand equivalent works fine)
  • 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix Jell-O or protein-packed alternative
  • 2 cups whole milk cold (cold yields fluffier pudding; 2% works too)
  • 24 Oreo cookies about 3 cups crushed fine; freeze 10 minutes then pulse or crush in a bag
  • 1 cup gummy worms for garnish and extra fun
  • fresh strawberries or raspberries for a bright, seasonal touch

Instructions

  • Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they resemble fine, sandy crumbs. No processor? Seal cookies in a bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  • Beat softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and beat until creamy.
  • Mix in vanilla pudding mix with cold milk until fluffy. Fold in whipped topping gently.
  • Spread half the Oreo crumbs in a dish, followed by the pudding mixture, and top with the remaining crumbs.
  • Refrigerate for at least 45 minutes before serving. Add gummy worms or berries before serving.

Notes

Room-temp cream cheese is crucial for a smooth consistency. Reserve some Oreo crumbs for topping. Adjust milk for pudding thickness. Chill longer for firmer slices.
