Ingredients

  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets, skin on (wild-caught if possible)
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 1 crushed garlic clove)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • Fresh dill or parsley, chopped optional for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the salmon. Rub it evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Line the basket with parchment or nonstick cooking spray. Place salmon fillets skin-side down.
  • Cook for 7-9 minutes. Squeeze lemon juice over salmon, and let it rest for 1-2 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh dill or parsley, and lemon slices. Serve hot.

Notes

• Pat salmon dry before seasoning for better adherence.
• Thicker fillets may require additional cooking time.
• Citrus punch: Use lime juice instead of lemon, if desired.
